Without restricting a person’s movements, we can enable people to have freedom to move around within their home, yet, if they wander off, a carer can be alerted by a pocket-size pager.
Using the Ridley Wanderer Locator enables you to:
- Be alerted if a person who you are caring for leaves a ‘safe zone’
- Be able to trace the location of a person
- Have the facility for the person to raise an alarm if they are in trouble
The client has a pendant, whose three functions afford greater safety to the wearer when used in conjunction with an assessed safety plan. The pendant:
- Allows a carer to know if a person has left a ‘safe zone’
- Enables the client to raise an alarm
- Enables the carer to locate the missing person.
